The 270 XL Freestanding Awning is built to fix both. Gusseted aluminium A-frame gives you a tough, freestanding setup that one person can roll out solo. 1000GSM PVC and 280GSM poly-cotton canvas keep the rain out and the sun off. Built-in LED lighting means you've got proper light at camp without stringing up extras. Wraps 270 degrees around your vehicle for full coverage at the side and rear.

FAQ
Can one person set it up?
Yes. It's a true freestanding awning, so it holds its own shape once the arms are out. The aluminium frame keeps the weight down enough to deploy and pack away on your own.
How does the locking system work?
It uses an aluminium twist-lock instead of the plastic cam locks you'll find on a lot of awnings. You twist to lock the arms in place. It holds tighter and there's less to wear out or snap over time.
Tell me about the lights.
You get four 150cm LED strips built in. They're dimmable and switch between bright white for general light and yellow that doesn't draw bugs in. They run off a 3m USB cable, so you can power them straight from your setup.
Will it hold up in wind?
The 260cm poles are longer than standard, which suits high-lift vehicles and gives you more stability when it's blowing. Peg it down and guy it out properly and it stays put.
Can I add walls?
Yes. The five-piece wall kit zips straight onto the 270XL for full enclosure, with a 1m zippered door and mesh backing for airflow. The walls are sold separately, matched to your left or right-hand awning.
What's the warranty?
